To do this, create a new project. Then invite your respondents, choosing each respondent’s verified type from the drop-down list. Respondents who have already verified their four-letter type do not need to complete the MBTI assessment again and will not receive an email invitation to take the assessment.
Important: Only follow these instructions when you have verified type information for all team members. If some team members need to verify their best-fit MBTI type, see How do I set up and manage the MBTI® Team Report?
Step 1: Creating your project
To create a new project:
- Choose the Projects + Reports tab on your Elevate® account.
- Click or tap the Create a Project
- Give the project a name and select Invitation-Only under Project Type.
- Click the Create
Step 2: Adding respondents with verified type
To add your respondents:
- Enter the respondent’s first name, last name, and email address.
- Click or tap the Select a Type
- Choose the respondent’s verified four-letter type, then click or tap the Save
- Click or tap the Add button to add the respondent to the new project.
Repeat these steps for all of your respondents. When you’ve added all team members, click or tap the Next button.
Step 3: Adding the MBTI® Team Report (Form M) to your project
- On the Add reports page, find the MBTI Team Report in Your reports or All reports, then choose Add to project.
- Important: Under the Assessments heading on the right, the assessment will be listed as “MBTI® Step II™ (Form Q).” Click or tap Use Step I™ (Form M) instead. A window will open. Click or tap the Select button under Form M, then click or tap the Save button to continue.
- Click the Next button to continue. If you don’t have available inventory for the MBTI Team Report, you can buy licenses at the end of the project creation process.
Step 4: Setting report options
- Set your preferred options for the project, then click or tap the Next
- You’ll see the email invitation that is usually sent inviting respondents to complete the MBTI assessment. However, emails will not be sent to respondents with a verified four-letter type.
- Click or tap the Send Now button, then choose Yes, Send.
- You’ll see a message that invitation emails have been sent. Please ignore this message as no emails will have been sent.
Step 5: Creating your team
To create your team:
- Choose the Manage Teams tab for your project.
- Under Create new teams, you’ll see a list of respondents who have verified MBTI types in this project. Select three or more respondents from this list.
- Click or tap the Create new team button to create your team.
Step 6: Downloading the MBTI® Team Report
Under Your teams, choose the team you want to download reports for, then click or tap the Download reports button.
If you’re downloading a new report, you’ll see a note confirming the number of licenses used from your inventory. If you don’t have enough licenses, you’ll be prompted to buy more inventory to continue.
If you have previously downloaded the MBTI Team Report for your team, you can download additional copies free of charge.
