Yes, it is possible through a workaround where a practitioner sets up a new project in their Elevate account, adds an individual as a respondent along with their type, and then uses the “Import by project” feature in MBTIonline Teams on Elevate to add the individual as a team member.
Please note that this workaround is dependent on the “Import from project” feature, which is only available to those who are MBTI Certified Practitioners (or educationally eligible for those in the US) and purchase and administer MBTIonline Teams through a full Elevate account.
-
Create a new, invite-only project with any MBTI report that works off verified type
- For simplicity, we’d recommend using the MBTI® Interpretive Report (Form M/Step I™) (261144)
- Note that you do not need to have inventory of the report
-
Add respondent(s) to the project and enter their verified type while you add them
- Selecting type while adding means the respondent will not receive any emails from Elevate about this project/assessment even though it may appear that an email invitation will be sent automatically
- Inputting type while adding also works if you're adding them to an existing project
- DO NOT download the report in that project (if you do, it will consume report inventory)
- Go to MBTIonline Teams on Elevate and use the “Import by project” feature to add the respondent with their type to a new or existing team. Learn more about importing from projects to teams here.
Note: The imported respondent will receive an email asking them to share their type with their team
- The link in the email will prompt them to register for an Elevate respondent account (assuming they don't already have one)
- The dashboard in their respondent account will show that the assessment as part of the steps for the MBTIonline Teams experience is “Completed” and the start button for the subsequent ILS step is deactivated
- The “Explore individual results” step in their dashboard will show 'Start' and when clicked, will prompt them to consent to share their type (the one that was entered by the practitioner in the Elevate project). If they consent, it will be shared with the team and they will proceed to the exploring their individual results.
